The aim of the production of the new shin guard in accordance with the latest competition rules of the World Association of Kickboxing Organisations was to combine robustness and shock-absorbing effects. The tibia is one of the most sensitive parts of the body because it lies directly under the skin and is not surrounded by protective muscles. Especially in kickboxing, where kicks are part of the repertoire as standard, a well-fitting shin guard is essential and part of the equipment. Due to the light shaping of the protectors, the Top Ten achieves good circulation to disperse the impact energy over the surface. The wide and strong Velcro straps and the sock on the fibula provide the necessary support and prevent inflammation and abrasion.
